Hello, my name is Andre and I’ve been an apprentice at 27 Web Management for over 10 months now; if you were anything like me when I was looking into apprenticeships, you’re reading this to calm your nerves because you’re thinking “OMG! I’ve just been accepted for an apprenticeship! What am I supposed to do now?!”. But trust me, we are happy to have you! Or similarly, you may just be reading this to find out if this role/job is right for you.
Working at 27 Web Management has been enjoyable and a great unique experience when it comes to the world of Web Development.
When I first started, I only really had a basic understanding and knowledge of what to do and what goes into creating a simple web page. However, after starting this apprenticeship, that all changed. The people here are very friendly and keen for you to do well in your apprenticeship. They will consistently make sure that they work alongside you to help and improve your web development skills.
As a result of this on-going support, becoming an apprentice and learning new things has been very easy with 27 Web Management. You will have plenty of work to do and be a reliable member of the team; this will help you to achieve the grades you want and deserve at the end of your apprentice experience. These essential qualifications will allow you to continue to work with us or give you great experience and knowledge for future jobs that you may aspire to.
During my Apprenticeship I have helped create many websites, for example: https://ipf-support-herefordshire.co.uk/ this is a website for those in Hereford suffering with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis. The aim was to make it simple and easy for people to link up at organised meetings with as many of the group members as possible and make new friendships and connections whilst receiving support in regards to living with their condition. In addition to this, another website I helped to create was https://www.therealbirthworkshop.co.uk/ this website was for The Real Birth company, a client that we work with. The aim of this website was to create a place where expectant women can go to find midwives in their local area to support them throughout their pregnancies. We did this by designing and implementing a map onto the website with the locations of all our practitioners.
In conclusion, if you have great passion for web development and you want to create some of your own work, I would highly recommend working with 27 Web Management. We make sure that all our efforts go into the development of our websites and we feel that our clients benefit from this attention to detail. While being an apprentice at this company, you can expect this same attention to detail when it comes to developing your understanding of web development and learning skills that will last you for your entire career.
